Week Six

This was the last full week of camp and it just flew by with so many activities.  Highlights include "Grand Daddy Gorilla" (this is a huge game of hide and seek with the counselors hiding, some climbing high into trees, and the campers seeking) on Tuesday morning; Little Wohelo relatives visiting on Wednesday; Beach Day on Thursday - we take the whole camp to the ocean;  a concert  Thursday night; the final "Capture the Flag" game on Friday morning; the final twi-light league game Friday night and Horse Races of Saturday night.  Horse Races are a much anticipated event - the counselors are the "horses" and dress in costumes. The campers can place "bets" for the winning horse - ask your campers to explain the rules and the costumes.

The sun has continued to shine all week with temperatures in the 90s most of  the week!  A little warmer than a typical Maine summer.

As a reminder to those of you joining us for the final events, Wednesday's schedule is as follows

    10:00 to 11:30    Watersports
4:30-5                The boys must all be in camp for a swim
    5:00-6:00            Woodshop/Handicrafts exhibit
    6:00-7:00            Dinner
    7:00-9:00            Award Ceremony

If you are taking your son Wednesday night after the awards ceremony, you must have everything up before 4 o'clock.
Please call us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing those of you who can make it!
