Fourth of July Evening
After a free evening, everyone gathered
on the beach for the burning of the bonfire. It is actually a rare
event to be able to burn the bonfire on the 4th of July. This
year, the weather was with us (no wind or rain) and all the
previous rain had kept the fire danger low. As is tradition, the
youngest boy in camp lights the fire with Dave. It is really a
huge bonfire and quite something to watch. And of course, the Crows'
cabin did their annual Bonfire Skit -- you'll have to ask your sons
about that -- I wouldn't attempt to describe it!!
