We had four cabins go on their camping
trip this week. On Monday, the Eagles went through the Songo
Lockes into Sebago Lake and spent a night right on the shore.
Wednesday, the Herons put their canoes into Sebago Lake and then canoed
down Panther Run, had to portage their boats and gear over the damn and
finally into Panther Pond where they spent the night right on the
shores of the lake. The Falcons left on Wednesday for the White
Mountains in New Hampshire where they camped for two nights and three
days. They climbed the Arethusa Falls the first day and had a
much more strenous climb on Wednesday up Mt. Webster. And on
Thursday, the Crogles canoed down the Tenney River to Panther Pond and
spent Thursday night on a great campsite about 2 miles from Timanous.
